Had an absolute blast! Brian was a great teacher, I was very nervous but he talked me through everything. I surprised myself by actually standing up on the board on my first wave.

Thank you Anna Marie for the lesson! Our daughter has never surfed before so we booked a private 90min session. She gave great instructions and encouragement the whole time!

We had an amazing experience with Brian during our semi private lesson! He takes the time to teach you vital skills on land that are helpful while out on the water. We were both able to stand up on the first try and near the end it was much easier to steer and ride the waves all the way in. Also, this is a great location to surf because it wasn’t crowded and you had plenty of space out in the ocean. Look no further for surf lessons!

Absolutely great experience taking lessons with Brian in Maui! Our family of 5 had multiple morning lessons during our week stay and we had the best time learning from him. He was patient, professional, encouraging and knowledgeable of not only surfing but of the Hawaiian culture. So much Aloha - will definitely use him again when we return!

Brian was an amazing instructor for our first ever surfing lesson! He was extremely personable, friendly, and ensured we were both safe throughout the experience. I was not expecting to be able to fully surf on the first attempt, but thanks to Brian's teaching we were both able to stand up and ride some waves! 🏄‍♀️🤙As someone who rarely ventures out into the ocean, I was anxious at first but Brian's encouragement throughout helped me feel more confident! Additionally he picked a great spot for us to surf that still had relatively shallow water even much deeper into the ocean -- even so far out we were only 5 feet deep and able to stand if we fell off our boards.He provided all the equipment and all we needed to bring were our swimsuits and towels! It's clear he knows what he's doing after more than 25 years of teaching -- we got the best crash course in surfing ever and can't recommend him enough!! 10/10 for anyone looking for surfing lessons
